Thinking about garbage by making it fun.
TERATOTERA and the municipal waste treatment facility Musashino Clean Center mark the rebuilding of the facility with an art event taking garbage and related matters as its theme. There will be an exhibition under the supervision of artist Hiroshi Fuji, “Things You Want to Throw Away but Can’t,” and a workshop by musician Tomo Yamaguchi using instruments created from discarded objects. Spend some time with these two artists, think about “the importance of things,” and experience the moment when garbage goes from being simply “trash” to “something worthwhile.”
