(After changes) February 11 (Friday/public holiday) 13:00 – 19:00

We are holding an exhibition to showcase the processes involved in the program “Tokyo Project Study 1: Unwind our involvement – Paving the way to new physicality and thought for co-existing and co-creating.

In Study 1, program navigators and ten specially recruited Study participants reexamined communication that allows us to co-exist and co-create with others who have a different perception of the world than ourselves. Together with guests who have different physical perceptions of the world in such contexts as the unconscious and physicality, methods of deciphering love based on visual dominance, tactile communication, etc., participants “unwound”in terms of body and memory; and through discussions related to language and senses they worked on devising new channels and methods for promoting and expanding communication with others who have different sensory perception, at the same time re-assimilating their own sensory faculties and feelings. This exhibition presents the processes of experimentation and practice engaged in by the ten participants.

Come discover and experience a new approach to “communication” emerging between “us,” an approach that began to take root in Study 1.

We have started up a special site where we will sporadically present statements on communication channels/methods and expressive works created by Study 1 participants.
