This is a workshop-style course in which you can learn about deaf people’s sensory perception using your whole body, and experience sign language firsthand.
First of all, we aim to get hands-on experience of aspects of the sensory perception of deaf people, such as wide field of vision and dynamic visual acuity, in order to learn an approach to communication that does not rely on speech.
These workshops will function like a warm-up for the practical learning of sign language, the “language you see with the eyes.”
