“Let’s Make an Opera!” Workshop 2 – Make things for the stage set! (crafts and construction)

This is a workshop in crafts and construction, held in conjunction with Tokyo Bunka Kaikan Opera BOX “Naita Akaoni” (The Red Ogre Who Cried). This popular program gives children the opportunity to take part in a real opera. Come and join in!
The works made by participants will appear on stage in the opera. Making things is an important aspect of stage art and design, and participation will encourage children’s interest in this field.

Program: Participants will observe the dress rehearsal of the play.

*Each session is a complete, self-contained workshop.
*Only those who have participated in the workshop may observe the dress rehearsal.
(Dress rehearsal observation is free of charge.)

Students from 1st-6th year of elementary school

Participation fee

500 yen

Number of participants
30-40 for each workshop
*A drawing will be held if the number of applicants exceeds the number of available spots.

Monday, June 1 – Tuesday, June 30 2015

Result
The result will be mailed in mid July.
