As well as performances showcasing young directors, the diverse program will feature workshops and a variety of performing arts productions. This year’s program features performances of new works and revivals, including works by promising young director Takahiro Fujita, as well as a performance of a new contemporary dance piece by Saburo Teshigawara, one of Japan’s leading dancers and choreographers. In addition, French contemporary circus performer Camille Boitel will stage a collaboration with various Japanese artists, while his compatriot Ladislas Chollat, an up-and-coming young director, will present the Japanese premiere of one of his plays.
