This project will hold workshops where people with backgrounds overseas gather, and collaborate to create a film. Workshop participants, through the filmmaking activity, will explore the relationship between their backgrounds and the area or community they currently live in.
Workshops will be run by a team made up of the people who participated in Tokyo Art Research Lab projects: CROSS WAY TOKYO, and Multicultural Film Making, leveraging their individual backgrounds and skills.
The cooperation between workshop participants and the team members with diverse backgrounds will create opportunities to get to know and engage with others outside of their own communities.
The aim is to establish an art program that generates new intercultural exchanges, constantly experimenting and developing innovative workshop methods.
