This project is a series of workshops in various areas of the city which center around the creation of a film with people who have backgrounds overseas in some way. Filmmaking activity revolving around encounters and dialog with people from different backgrounds will create the opportunity to gain new perspectives on “community” in Tokyo as well as the “roots” of oneself and others. The project is also aimed at community building and the research and development of programs which participants can proactively engage in.
