Immigration Museum Tokyo: Study meeting series "Considering multicultural coexistence"

Genre:
  • Art Project ,
  • Lecture / Symposium

Many people around the world practice a religion, and the teachings of those religions are closely connected to people’s daily lives.
For each of the three sessions scheduled for this study meeting series, we’ll be inviting a religious specialist to tell us about religion — Islam, Judaism, Christianity and Buddhism — in the culture of the countries in question. We’ll also learn about the lifestyle and food culture of people of faith in each case, and consider the ways in which we can coexist with people of different cultural backgrounds and faiths within Japanese society.
