A look at four fictional sisters and one summer’s open house at NAKACHO House

NAKACHO House is an elegant old residence comprising a beautiful Japanese-style house and lush green garden in the Senju Nakacho area of Adachi-ku.
“Open house by four sisters, summer” is a performance revolving around one summer when four fictional sisters open their house to the public.
Ima theater explores approaches to “place” in its performances. Come experience this special house in a variety of ways together with Ima theater.

This summer, NAKACHO House is preparing to open its doors to all sorts of people.

What was it like to live here?
How can it be used in future?
There will be a small performance reflecting such musings as NAKACHO House opens its doors to the public.

This is what might happen if four fictional sisters lived here and opened their house to people.
Savor your time at NAKACHO House with the help of a little imagination.
