Text, Direction: Toshiki Okada
Toshiki Okada (chelfitsch), a dramatist who has earned a sterling reputation for his portrayals of youth in contemporary Japan, premieres his first post-3.11 work in Tokyo!
With a science fiction-esque setting and dialogue with a quasi-“written” feel, the highly metaphorical production explores the emotions of seven women as they hesitate about ominous rumors.
Okada’s textual and physical production is a total theatrical experience of lighting, music, and design, capturing subtle changes and creating an expressive dramatic space.
