“The Sound of Asia” Talk and Concert by Makoto Nomura – The Sounds of Asia on the Piano
We’re proud to present a talk and concert on “Southeast Asian Music,” presented by Makoto Nomura, who has travelled all over Southeast Asia creating music with local musicians. Makoto will share his experiences from Thailand and Indonesia, and play Southeast Asian songs on the piano. Please come and experience the sounds of Asia!
“Easy and Exciting! Fun with Music” Mini-Music Workshop by Makoto Nomura – Experience the Joy of Music Without a Score!
Music is something anyone can enjoy and play, even without expensive instruments or complicated musical scores. We present a music workshop where anyone can participate in the process of musical creation, whether it is through keeping time with your hands or making your own instrument. The workshop will be run by Makoto Nomura, who’s made music with everyone from children to the elderly. Come and experience creating music in a no-pressure environment!
