Calling all pun fanatics! If you like to pun, but your jokes don’t go over well with the people around you…or worse yet they think you are lame, we want you! It’s time to step up to the plate.

“Senju Pun-Filled Music Festival,” a fusion project that brings together music and puns, started by the musician Makoto Nomura in 2011.
The project, which has run various concerts and workshops in the past, is hosting its largest performance to date, “1010 People in Senju” on October 12th, located in Adachi Market. This concert is the largest pun-themed concert in Japan…no, in the world!

Before the concert, the “Pun Battle Tournament,” held for the first time two years ago, will return.
Last time, the tournament brought together 8 groups of pun fanatics at the Tokyo University of the Arts to showcase their art in front of a bursting audience. This time, the tournament will be held at “Koraku,” in Senju’s entertainment district.
By all means, muster up the courage and enter!
