The Senju Connection Residency Program, with Mariko Tomomasa – Seeking Participants in an Independent Film Project

Genre:
  • Visual Art / Media Art ,
  • Art Project

A film anyone can make
Interested in making a one-of-a-kind film unique to Senju?

The Senju Connection Residency Program is debuting a new Sound Art initiative this year. Artist Mariko Tomomasa, winner of the Open Competition, will team up with local residents to put together an independent film. Ms. Tomomasa will be holding an information session to recruit volunteers for the project!

We are actively seeking members to collaborate in the filmmaking process. If you’ve ever wanted to be a producer and wield a loudspeaker, try your hand at writing scenes, be a cameraman, handle lighting and audio on the set, dreamt about making a movie, be in the spotlight, work together with others to make a film, prepare lunches for members on the set, are interested in the town of Senju or its residents, or want to hear Ms. Tomomasa speak, then now’s your chance. No experience necessary! Just drop by the information session to learn more.
