"Workshop Concert—An Invitation to Ballet Music"

(1) Saturday, May 1 2021, 10:00-10:45 (Open 9:30)
Admission Ages: 4 years-Adult
*Preschool children must participate with middle school students or older persons. Children under 4 years of age are not admitted.
(2) Saturday, May 1 2021, 11:45-12:30 (Open 11:15)
Admission Ages: 6 months-3 years with their families and caregivers
*Children under 6 months of age are not admitted. Adults can enter the venue only participating with admitted aged children.

Maximum number of participants: 250 per class

Workshop Leader: Shiori Sakurai
Flute: Reiko Takuwa *2nd prize of Wind section at the 11th Tokyo Music Competition
Oboe: Shinnosuke Soeda *2nd prize and Audience Award of Wind section at the 13th Tokyo Music Competition
Clarinet: Yuki Sudo
Bassoon: Asami Kakinuma *3rd prize of Wind section at the 13th Tokyo Music Competition
Horn: Kenta Yano
Dance: Rui Yoshikawa (former dancer of The Tokyo Ballet), Chihiro Kataoka (former dancer of The Tokyo Ballet)

To caregivers

Each workshop is prepared only for the admission ages. Small children excluding the admission ages such as participants’ siblings are not allowed to attend the workshop. Your understanding would be highly appreciated.

On participating in workshops

  • This workshop is conducted only in Japanese.
  • Photography and video recording may occur during the workshop for our publicity materials.
  • The admission ages are determined as of the actual date of the event.
  • Nursing room is available. (only the class for 6 months-3 years)
  • Please join with easy-to-move outfits.
  • The program is subject to change under certain circumstances.
